The Central recreation park has an immense value for the Havarovsk citizens and visitors. From its creation on it has almost the same age as the city. The park was always used as a recreation territory and garden: obviously, the citizen found it attractive not only for his convenient whereabouts (location) but also for presence of some sort of positive energy around. many sources state, that long ago on the place of a cliff there were a shaman's nomad camp. It happened, that the central part has become not only a place for citizens' entertainment and motion. The features of wild and contradictive past manifest themselves here and there on its territory, turn the park walking into an intrinsic trip through the land's history.

Today the park by itself is a subject of history, an archeologically valuable territory, that includes the historic and culture cult monuments of the Amur land indigenous people. Presently, the process of park restoration is gradually proceeding on. Its upper part is already restored: green plantations are replaced, a monument to earl Muraviev-Amurski is restored, a territory surrounding the monument with modern amenities is restored to its original state, the restoration of a guard-house of Earl Muraviev-Amurski monument is close to its completion.

In line with, the science centre on preservation of Khabarovsk Region historic and culture monuments is actively research the new ways of preservation of the most ancient historic and culture monuments of Far East - petroglyphs, located in different places across the Region's territory. A Project implementation on creation of exposition "Petroglyphics masterpieces" in the Central park would allow to solve a several important tasks.

Up to date the only way of preservation of the drawings came off unhurt is manufacture of their exact copies. The science works on conservation and coping the most precious artifacts can give a fast and socially significant effect. The Exact copies will become available for public observation, that allow realize a rich cultural-ethnographic potential of the ancient Amur Region's petroglyphs, that is hidden today to people. Creation of such an exposition will significantly increase tourist attractiveness of the historic center of Khabarovsk, having a history of 12 millenniums B.C.

A short glimpse on the current state of affair is enough to comprehend that placement of the rock drawings exact copies straight in this part of the park will become a wonderful supplement to its natural beauty, and fill a deep historic context.
